Zebra cake: the spectacular and original cake recipe

The Zebra cake it’s a two-tone soft fluffy and easy to prepare, similar to a marbled donut. Unlike the latter, however, in this case the white batter and cocoa are poured into the mold so that once the inside of the cake comes out of the oven, it looks like a zebra’s coat. How to prepare zebra cake

In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar, oil and milk. Add flour, baking powder and mix until creamy. Now divide the dough into two bowls adding 40g of cocoa powder in one. Place 3 liqueur glasses in a circular mold with the bottom up and alternate the white and cocoa mixture. Gently remove the glasses and bake at 180°C for 45 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the glaze by mixing the condensed milk with another 40 grams of cocoa. Pour it over the cake, decorate with chocolate chips and serve.

The zebra cake can be preserved 2-3 days under a glass dome or inside an airtight container.
